Suderman & Young Towing Company docks first VLCC at Buckeye Partners’ new South Texas Gateway Terminal in Corpus Christi, Texas

The VLCC GEM NO.5 is being escorted and docked by six Z-Tech 30-80’s tugs including Ted C. Litton, Apollo and Mercury. These 6,700 HP tugs have a bollard pull in excess of 80 metric tonnes. Suderman & Young has been serving the ship assist needs of our customers in Texas ports for over a century.
